Halloween at 888STARZ is about more than costumes and pumpkins. From 26.10.2026 to 31.10.2026, players can take on Beat the Monsters — a sports quest made up of nine consecutive challenges, with a guaranteed free bet waiting after every completed stage.
You start with straightforward football bets, then the requirements gradually step up as the quest moves across football, basketball, hockey, tennis and esports. Complete all nine challenges and the total reward comes to €88 in free bets.

Nine Challenges — Nine Guaranteed Free Bets
The main rule of Beat the Monsters is simple: the challenges must be completed strictly in order. Until the current stage is finished, any actions that would qualify for the next challenge do not count.
Each completed stage unlocks a separate guaranteed free bet:
- Challenge #1 — €3 free bet. Place 3 football bets of at least €3 in Prematch or Live. Singles must be on Home Win, Away Win or Draw at odds of 2.0 or higher. Accumulators must contain at least 3 selections, each on Home Win, Away Win or Draw at odds of 1.4 or higher.
- Challenge #2 — €4 free bet. Place 4 football bets of at least €5 on the Both Teams to Score — Yes/No market in Prematch or Live. Singles must have odds of at least 2.0; accumulators must contain at least 3 selections, each at odds of 1.4 or higher.
- Challenge #3 — €5 free bet. Place 5 bets of at least €5 on Totals markets in basketball or hockey. Singles must have odds of at least 2.0, or use accumulators of at least 3 selections with each selection priced at 1.4 or higher.
- Challenge #4 — €7 free bet. Place 5 bets of at least €7 on Home Win, Away Win or Draw markets in basketball or hockey. Singles require minimum odds of 2.0, while accumulators of at least 3 selections require odds of at least 1.4 on each selection.
- Challenge #5 — €10 free bet. Place 5 single bets of at least €10 at odds of 2.0 or higher in Prematch or Live. Eligible sports are football, basketball, hockey and tennis.
- Challenge #6 — €12 free bet. Place 3 accumulators of at least €10 each, with a minimum of 3 selections in every accumulator. Each selection must have odds of at least 1.4. Bets can be placed in Prematch or Live on esports, tennis or football.
- Challenge #7 — €12 free bet. Win 3 football singles of at least €10 in Prematch at odds of 2.0 or higher.
- Challenge #8 — €15 free bet. Win 3 Live singles of at least €10 at odds of 2.0 or higher in hockey or basketball.
- Challenge #9 — €20 free bet. Win 3 tennis bets of at least €10 in Prematch or Live: singles at odds of 2.0 or higher, or accumulators of at least 3 selections where each selection has odds of 1.4 or higher.
The reward is credited in the currency of the player’s gaming account.
The opening stages bring €3–€7, but the rewards get noticeably bigger as you progress. The final three challenges alone are worth €47 in free bets, so there is plenty of reason to make it all the way to the end.
How Challenges Are Counted
For most stages, bets settled as either wins or losses count toward completion. The exception is any challenge that specifically requires you to win a certain number of bets.
Only bets placed with real-money funds are eligible. Bets placed with bonus or advance funds, bets using promo codes and sold bet slips do not count toward the promotion. Bets settled at odds of 1 are also excluded.
Each challenge can be completed only once, and only one free bet can be awarded for each stage. Once all required bets have been settled, the challenge is considered complete and the free bet is credited automatically within 24 hours.
How to Use Your Free Bet
Each free bet must be used within 72 hours of being credited. To meet the wagering requirement, place an accumulator with at least 3 selections for the full value of the free bet in Prematch or Live. Every selection must have odds of 1.4 or higher.
Handicap and Totals markets do not count toward wagering the free bet.
It is also important to understand how the payout is calculated. The free bet stake itself is not returned to the balance — only the net winnings are credited. For example, if the free bet is €10 and the accumulator wins at total odds of 3.00, the potential return is €30 minus the €10 free bet stake, leaving €20 in winnings.
